No! But downloading or uploading films may take a bit longer.
If you have then new Apple iPod that plays video you can see the video/movie or photo slideshows on TV via the iPod AV Cable. Another option is a network connected set-top box such as Apple TV, slingbox, or a Media Center PC or Mac.

HungryFlix will accept the following formats of video:
H.264 video: up to 768 Kbps, 320 x 240, 30 frames per sec., Baseline Profile up to Level 1.3 with AAC-LC up to 160 Kbps, 48 Khz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4 file formats
MPEG-4 video: up to 2.5 mbps, 480 x 480, 30 frames per sec., Simple Profile with AAC-LC up to 160 Kbps, 48 Khz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4 file formats.
MPEG-4 HD video: up to 1280x720, 30 frames per sec. Simple Profile with AAC-LC up to 160 Kbps, 48 Khz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4 file formats.
Any other file types will be deleted.
HungryFlix will accept the following formats of audio:

As of March 2008, We now support up to 1 Gigabyte.
Rad Upload is a file upload applet. It allows your customers to simply drag and drop files on to a special area on their browsers to be transferred to the server. Alternative you can just copy and paste them into the applet to be uploaded. This compresses your files for much faster uploading with no loss to quality!
Yes, the applet can be used with the Safari Browser on Mac OS X.
As much as you like! We leave that up to you. However, we have done extensive market surveys and most potential buyers will pay the following:

Keep in mind there a over 20 million portable media players out there! We recommend keeping prices low.
In your user panel you will have access to your download stats.
Yes! HungryFlix pays its content providers 60% of all sales after PayPal fees. For example, you sell a movie for $0.99. Current PayPal fees are 2.9% + $0.30 USD. So, for a $0.99 transaction, PayPal fees are $0.33, the content provider's share is $0.40 and HungryFlix's share is $0.26.
Payments will be made quarterly via PayPal. Quarterly payments will be made only if a minimum of $10.00 in profits has been earned. If this minimum has not yet been reached, the sales will be credited toward the next quarter. You will always receive credit for all sales.
HungryFlix will send your profits via PayPal once per quarter. A minium of $10.00USD in profits must be earned before profits will be paid out.
HungryFlix can format content for you for a small fee.

Troubleshooting
Make sure you have QuickTime 7 installed!
Make sure you are running OSX and the Safari Browser.
If you have broadband it should not take too long as we have 100mps lines. However please keep in mind the files are quite large sometimes and will take a bit to download or upload.
